Performance

We are regularly assessed by our Regulator, The Housing Corporation, who produce a variety of reports on our performance. We received 4 'green lights' after our 2007 Housing Corporation Assessment, which means we continue to be eligible for Housing Corporation Funding.

We also monitor our own performance against a range of external performance indicators and internally-set targets.

 Performance Monitoring    External Assessment

Performance Indicators are published annually for all Registered Social Landlords by the Housing Corporation. These measure performance across the whole range of RSLs’ activity, including rent levels, allocations, development and repairs. The most recent indicators  are available from The Housing Corporation’s website.  We use these performance indicators to monitor how we perform compared to other local social housing providers.  Click here to see charts showing this information.

We also:

  • Monitor our performance against our service excellent standards. Click here to view year-end information produced in April 2007;
  • Produce a Quarterly Operational Statement measuring performance against a range of key targets;
  • Monitor our performance through our membership of Housemark. Click here to see this information.

An individual Housing Corporation Assessment  is carried out annually by the Housing Corporation to assess our performance against four criteria: viabilty, governance, management and development.

The Audit Commission undertook an inspection of our Housing Management services and awarded us a two-star rating overall.  Please click on the icons opposite to view the Commission's full report and our formal response.

We currently hold the Chartermark and Investor in People accreditations. The Chartermark is awarded for excellence in public service, and includes an annual Survellance Visit to assess progress. Tthe Investors in People demonstrates a commitment to supporting and developing staff.  In February 2004 we gained Client Charter status, proving our commitment to innovation and improvement in the delivery of housing projects.
